Axiom Space held a virtual Science on the Mission press conference to share more about the experiments, microgravity research, and technology demonstrations that will be a part of Axiom Mission 4 (Ax-4).

The mission includes around 60 scientific studies from 31 countries, marking the most research activities on an Axiom Space mission to date and highlighting its global significance and collaborative efforts to advance microgravity research in low-Earth orbit (LEO). The studies will contribute to human research, Earth observation, and life, biological, and material sciences, showcasing each country’s space research initiatives.

The Ax-4 crewmembers are Commander Peggy Whitson of the U.S., Pilot Shubhanshu Shukla of India, Mission Specialist Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski of Poland, and Mission Specialist Tibor Kapu of Hungary. A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket will launch the Ax-4 crew aboard a Dragon spacecraft to the International Space Station on May 29, 2025, at 1:03 pm EDT from Florida.
