MEDIA ADVISORY: Axiom Space to Provide Live Ax-4 Mission Coverage

RSVP to join the pre-launch press conference following the Launch Readiness Review

Axiom Space has set the live mission coverage schedule for Axiom Mission 4 (Ax-4), the company’s fourth commercial astronaut mission to the International Space Station.

The Ax-4 crew will launch aboard a SpaceX Dragon spacecraft to the International Space Station from Launch Complex 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida on June 10 at 8:22 a.m. ET. The crew will dock to the space station on June 11 at approximately 12:30 p.m. ET. Once docked, the Ax-4 astronauts will spend about 14 days aboard the space station conducting microgravity research, technology demonstrations, and outreach events.

The Ax-4 crewmembers are Commander Peggy Whitson of the U.S., Pilot Shubhanshu Shukla of India, Mission Specialist Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski of Poland, and Mission Specialist Tibor Kapu of Hungary. Ax-4 will be the first time astronauts from India, Poland, and Hungary conduct a mission on board the International Space Station. For each of these countries, this mission will realize the return to human spaceflight, as they launch national astronauts for the first time in more than 40 years.

Ax-4 Pre-Launch Press Conference

Axiom Space will hold a virtual press conference at 6:00 p.m. ET on Monday, June 9, following the Launch Readiness Review (LRR), which evaluates the Falcon 9 and Dragon spacecraft, mission hardware, and readiness for launch.
