Ali Alghamdi is an astronaut who represented the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as backup mission specialist for Axiom Mission 2 (Ax-2). He is an experienced Eurofighter Typhoon (EFA-2000) instructor pilot in the Royal Saudi Air Force. Alghamdi has a Bachelor of Aero Science degree from King Faisal Air Academy in Saudi Arabi.
